David E. Cisek
Mister Cisek began his insurance claims adjusting career in 1968. In 1986, while President of MHG Adjusting Company, he founded Spotcheck Investigations. David holds, or has held, licenses as a California Fire and Casualty Adjuster, Fire and Casualty Broker, Third Party Claim Administrator, Self-Insurance Administrator and Private Investigator.

He has written numerous published books for the claim industry and serves or has served on many industry association Boards.

Martha Baptista
Miss Baptista began her insurance career in 1988 and co-founded Spotcheck Investigations of San Diego in 1994. She is an experienced surveillance investigator and claim administrator, specializing in Workers’ Compensation matters. She has conducted thousands of workers’ compensation investigations for local and national insurance companies.

Martha is fluent in oral and written Spanish and conversant in many Hispanic and South American dialects.

Robert Baptista
Robert Baptista began his law enforcement career with the Los Angeles Police Department in 1981, rising to the rank of Detective. His vast undercover investigation experience makes him invaluable in managing all surveillance activity for Spotcheck Investigations.

Robert is an avid athlete and won numerous gold medals while participating in the Police Olympics over a seventeen year period.
